It’s also called the ‘Rieu sec’
Dry almost all year round (‘sec’ means ‘dry’ in English, so it’s aptly named!), except after heavy rain, you’ll have to be very lucky to appreciate the aquatic side of this canyon. Nevertheless, it’s still a stunningly beautiful place thanks to numerous basins, waterfalls and rock pools that the water has carved throughout the millennia. It’s a magical place and well worth a visit!
