What kind of equipment is needed for caving?
Equipment to be brought along:
You should bring comfortable clothes that are suitable for dirty conditions, a pair of socks, drinking water and possibly a change of clothes for afterwards.
Equipment provided by GEO:
All the technical equipment is provided (overalls to protect your clothes, a helmet with a head torch and a harness for some of the caves). A small bonus at GEO is the free loan of caving shoes from size 26-48. So, during your stay in Ardèche, don't hesitate to venture into the bowels of the Earth to discover the underground world in Southern Ardèche. You may of course combine your exploration with a canoe trip down the Ardèche gorges or an initiation to canyoning.
