Remène half day
Underground adventure
Presenting no great technical difficulties, Remène offers an excellent introduction to caving. However, you’ll need to be ready to get wet as there are quite a few passages through water and a whirlpool to negotiate! This is a beautiful underground walk that allows you to explore one of the numerous caves in Ardeche.
The meeting point is at the Intermarché supermarket car park just outside Rosières.
From Aubenas: Take the D104 towards Alès and remain on it until you come to the Intermarché roundabout just before Rosières.
From Vallon-Pont-d’Arc: Take the D579 to Ruoms. At the main roundabout in Ruoms, turn left into the village on the D557, and then turn right onto the D4 signposted to Joyeuse and Largentiere. Continue to follow signs to Joyeuse on the D4 until you reach the junction with the D104. Turn left to Rosieres until you see Intermarche on the left at the roundabout.
The price includes

- To bring: Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty (NB, temperature in the cave is 13ºC) and a change of clothes for afterwards, plus water.
