Horizontal and vertical progression…
An excursion into the bowels of the earth to discover a subterranean world – horiontal and vertical progression, narrow passages and huge spaces combined with a bit of technique (use of ropes plus a short abseil).
The little ‘extra’ at GEO – caving shoes from size 26 to 48!
The meeting point is at the car park after the bridge over the Ibie just outside Vallon-Pont-d’Arc (07150)
Take the D290 out of Vallon towards the Gorges de l’Ardeche. The car park is on the left after the bridge and before the Camping de l’Ile. Bring comfortable clothes appropriate for temperatures of 13ºC that you don’t mind getting dirty, and a change for afterwards, plus water and cereal bars or other snacks.
